We are a ladies-only running club in St Albans who aim to provide a safe, supportive and fun environment. Whether you’re looking for a 0-5K Beginners Course or are already running, we would love to welcome you into our club. Here at Athena we are more than just a club, we are a community of women who believe in each other, support each other’s achievements and inspire the next runner.
Running in winter can be tough; it’s cold, wet and dark. But come December, we can’t wait to grab our trainers because we love seeing the Postbox Toppers on our route! The St Albans Postbox Toppers have always been a highlight of our winter runs, so what better way to support the project and the local community than to sponsor one. At Athena we love hills, or at least we tell ourselves we do… So we’ve decided to sponsor the Holywell Hill Postbox Topper to make sure we get plenty of hill practice in!
